August Office Update (Mesa, AZ)

Back to school and later-starting universities

August is a busy transition for families. The future is heading back to school, from kindergarten through seniors in high school. Many colleges and universities also begin later this month, which can bring new routines, new locations, and new coverage questions.

In my office, I often hear questions like:

  • Who is driving now, and what changed since summer began

  • Whether a new school schedule affects where people go and how they use a vehicle

  • How new housing situations, roommates, or updated addresses may affect coverage

  • What liability coverage means for everyday life, school activities, and work related routines

About Scott Christian (State Farm Agent in Mesa)

Experience

I am Scott Christian, a State Farm agent in Mesa, Arizona. I work with customers across Mesa and the East Valley, including Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Apache Junction, Queen Creek, and surrounding communities.

I have served the Mesa community for about four years. During that time, I have helped customers with everyday coverage moments such as:

  • Adding drivers or vehicles

  • Moving within the East Valley

  • Buying a home or condo

  • Setting up coverage for a rental

  • Reviewing policies after life changes

  • Answering questions about life coverage needs for families

Liability coverage and what it is designed to do

Clarity

When people ask about coverage for “the things that matter most,” I usually start with liability. Liability coverage is part of both auto policies and homeowners or renters policies, and it is designed to help with the financial responsibility that can come from injuries or property damage to others.

In plain terms, I view liability coverage as a way to help protect what you have worked for, including:

  • Your assets

  • Your paycheck Without your paycheck, life does not stop. Bills, housing, and everyday needs still continue, and that is why liability matters.

If your current provider has not asked questions about what you want to protect, it may be worth reviewing whether your policy details match your current situation. Every household has different exposures, limits, and deductibles.

Coverages I help explain

I can help explain and review coverages that may include:

  • Auto

  • Homeowners

  • Renters

  • Condo

  • Life

  • Business

  • Motorcycle

  • RV

  • Boat

  • Personal articles

  • Umbrella liability

Coverage availability and discounts can vary by state, policy type, and eligibility.

Community connections

Mesa is the community where my office is located and where I serve. I stay connected through local efforts such as Quotes for Meals and the I LOVE MESA campaign.
